This could just be the double form of Lord Bute but this grows quite differently. Very much an old style Regal Pelargonium, which it is. It has an upright vigorous habit that can be wayward. The way to curb this is to use it as a container plant in summer displays. Which is what it was intended for and very showy it is with deep purple flowers edged white with a white throat and very, very frilly.
Plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot. There is no need to remove this pot as roots will grow thorough it and the pot, which is made of fibre, will degrade harmlessly into the compost.
